Viper CTR - Asuka

The last Viper game released for PC-98 has the best production values ever: 256 color artwork, banging soundtrack with FM, MIDI and CDDA options, full voice acting, and the best animations you'll ever see running on our beloved kyuu-hachi. It's also really short, unfortunately.

The story in CTR is pretty heartwarming (even if the MC is once again kind of a jerk, and despite the gang-rape post credit scene - well, it's a Sogna game after all) and both Asuka and Miki are really cool heroines. It was a pretty fitting swansong for the original series before development was moved to Windows 95.

We used a script commissioned by a Sogna Museum form member and made public on the same website for this one. To our knowing, it was never used for a in-game patch but instead for some subtitled playthroughs. Some touch-ups were done, mostly to eliminate redundencies and make everything fit in the short memory limits available, but it was pretty decent to begin with.
